Abstract

En este artículo se analizan algunas afinidades entre la narrativa vanguardista de Felisberto Hernández y el pensamiento que, a propósito de la escritura y del arte literario, desarrolló el filósofo uruguayo Carlos Vaz Ferreira. El punto central del trabajo radica en las nociones movimiento y proceso, categorías temáticas y esté- ticas que permiten observar los cuentos de Felisberto como una serie de discursos en apariencia inconclusos, privilegiando el procedimiento escritural por encima de la obra terminada. De esta forma, la literatura se aleja de toda idea relacionada con el estatismo de la palabra escrita y se presenta como un acontecimiento de carácter filosófico en el que la obra se (re)crea a través de la lectura.
